So much to do, so little time.  I checked the calendar today, quite surprised that May 21st is quickly approaching. I suspect, like all of my other kids, I’ll be a week or two earlier. I’m about done with the laundry room, which for some reason took longer than I had hoped. Perhaps, the location of the laundry room is the problem, as it’s pretty where no one can see it, and as the saying goes, “Out of sight, out of mind.”

I have no idea how long it will take to get the dining room done. We had moved all of our storage out of the “guest bedroom” to turn it into a pantry.   As a result, we had turned the dining room as a temporary storage area as it now holds most of the stuff that was in the “guest bedroom”.

We had put this stuff aside because we will probably need it… someday… maybe. Unfortunately, I grew up poor, but we had a lot of storage space. This allowed us to save items that we sometimes used for repairs. This also became a problem when my parents finally decided to move. I wasn’t there for all of it, but I bet it was “fun” going through the attic and shed.

Fortunately, I did manage to get rid some of the items, but there’s so much more to go through. I definitely have my work cut out for me.

I’ll be happy to get rid of it once and for all. Some of this stuff sat in storage for a while. Really, we don’t need it. It’s time to let it go we probably won’t need it until we get rid of it anyway.
